Fqsida and the Farha Foundation join forces against HIV / AIDS
May 18, 2017
We told you in our email of April 4: the “Fondation québécoise du SIDA” and the Fondation Farha merged on April 1, under the single banner of the Fondation québécoise du SIDA, to better join forces against HIV / AIDS!
“This is excellent news for all those fighting HIV / AIDS in Quebec! We have always maintained close ties with the Farha Foundation and are happy to unite in this new relationship” said Sylvain Laflamme, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fqsida. “This consolidation comes at an opportune moment and allows us to promote our common vision: Together, let’s prepare a world without AIDS and HIV!”
Quebec leader in the fight against HIV / AIDS, the Farha Foundation has distributed over the past 25 years nearly $10 million to some 76 Quebec organizations providing care and services to people living with HIV / AIDS, as well as as prevention and education programs.
We are proud of this alliance and are happy to renew our commitment to the communities of Quebec. The joint experience of our two foundations will help to respond even better to the many challenges of the struggle.
